The Heart Behind Food Art
Food has always been my first love (yes, my wife knows that). I’ve spent nearly 30 years mastering the art of flavor and spices, blending them in ways that not only create unforgettable dishes but also tell a story of tradition, love, and family.
My passion for food goes beyond cooking—it’s about connecting, sharing, and serving love with every meal, which is why I often think of food as the language of the heart.
For me, cooking isn’t just a job—it’s a way to relax, reflect, and bring my thoughts together in the hustle and bustle of life. It's been a fulfilling journey, one that started with my deep connection to Indian food and evolved into something much greater.
The spark for FOOD ART came when my son, Swabh, was preparing to come to Canada as an international student. He was uncertain about what kind of food he’d be able to find in Quebec. I knew I had to do something. Having worked in the food industry for over two decades, I decided to bring the authentic taste of Indian home-style meals to students like Swabh, who missed the flavors of home.
18 months of research and development, along with a lot of hard work, led to the birth of FOOD ART. I pursued Food Safety Certification, ensured the highest standards of quality with ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 approvals, and made sure everything we offer complies with HACCP standards.
What started as a personal mission to serve the community has now grown into something much larger, such that today, the Québécois are savoring our flavors.
FOOD ART is a reflection of my journey- a journey of passion, dedication, and love for bringing people together through food. I hope you enjoy every bite of the freeze-dried meals crafted with care under the expertise of yours truly, Chef Aman Marwah.
